Fall Enrollment
(2011-2012 school year)
Begins Now
Enrollment is open to all Missouri residents
Our purpose at Jesus Is Lord Academy is to educate students in grades K through 12th in moral values to prepare them for life and for eternity. These values are based on a Biblical world-view, and do not change with the fluctuating times we are living in.
The scholars are taught accountability for their actions, including respect for all ages. Personal responsibility and discipline is rewarded and honored in this style of classroom.
The students are surrounded by committed, growing Christians whose desire is to serve with the same meekness characterized by Christ.
We use the Accelerated Christian Education (A.C.E.) program which is both academically excellent and accredited. Our program is individualized, tailored to meet the needs of each student (advance, average or challenged). Because students get to work at their own pace, frustration is avoided and they are not forced to move on before the concepts are mastered.

The National Association of Private Schools require the high standard of Traditional Education based on Biblical Values. Traditional Education has been the foundation for success in the United States from the inception of the Nation.
Accredit is related to the same root word as credible, or believable. An accredited institution therefore is one that can be believed. It has earned the approval of those who know it. Accreditation means: this institution is fulfilling its stated purpose with integrity and excellence.
Jesus Is Lord’s accreditation requirements and fees will be met on a yearly basis. The Academy’s Accredited Status is earned through academic, technical, and overall excellence. The National Association of Private Schools recognizes this educational institution as having achieved a level of excellence and expertise and has established a credible reputation in the educational community.
The full-time teaching staff at JILA are Christians, actively seeking to live a consistent Christian life according to the Scriptures. They are committed to the spiritual and educational growth of every student. They are trained and certified by Accelerated Christian Education Ministries, the educational system we work through. Teachers annually attend educator’s conventions to receive updates and to improve their skills. We endeavor to provide the highest possible academic program. JILA is annually evaluated by A.C.E. representatives. The Academy complies with all Missouri state laws for private schools and meets or exceeds all state graduation requirements.
From the Heart of Our Administrator
We hear testimonies weekly about how this school is affecting the world around us. We are blessed to have qualified staff that honor Christ.
I believe that Christian education is not an alternative, nor is it a luxury; it is not even just a good idea. It is the Great Commandment of Matthew 22:37 "Jesus said thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul and with all thy mind."
Teaching the Word of God is our priority. The question to ask is how can Jesus be the teacher if we do not hear or know His Words?
My personal opinion: God has clearly commanded us to train our children diligently and daily in the principles of His Word. I am thankful for this Academy being a place where children's lives are touched daily by Godly people who develop Godly hunger in them. This kind of education is mandated by God, with the Bible completely at the center.
Tragically, there are countless parents who love the Lord and believe His Word, and because of a lack of a Godly alternative, every morning they get their children up and send them back into spiritual Egypt. Knowing good from evil is not the same as knowing good and evil. By learning to be "wise unto that which is good," we will automatically be able to detect that which is evil. It is not necessary to study evil in order to know what it is! How obvious it is that people do not need a course in the "art of sinning".
We will have to answer to a Sovereign and Holy God regarding the education of our children. We are humbly grateful to be able to offer this Godly alternative to a secular education.
