Sunday Morning Classes
NURSERY (up to 3 yrs of age)
An introduction to biblical characters and Christian habits for sharing and loving
others.
PRE-SCHOOL (age 4 - 5 yrs)
Studying of Bible stories and characters, getting acquainted with Bible verses,
praying and coloring or craft associated with Bible story.
YOUNGER ELEMENTARY (K-1st grade)
By studying the stories about the Bible characters, students will learn Bible
verses and select passages. (i.e. "The Ten Commandments" and "The Lord's
Prayer").
OLDER ELEMENTARY (2nd-5th grade)
Studying the Bible lessons, getting acquainted with using the Bible, Ten
Commandments, disciples of Jesus, the Lord’s Prayer and focusing on the need for
daily praying and living for Jesus.
JUNIOR HIGH (6-8th grade)
Studying the Bible, using the Bible to find answers for everyday living, learning
how to walk daily as Jesus walked through their speech, love and respect for
others,their faith and purity. Learning about missions to those around them.
SENIOR HIGH (9-12th grade)
Studying the Bible and student guide books, learning how to cope with everyday
problems faced in the secular world. Being an example, through speech, love,
faith and purity to the lost. Being a mentor to the younger children and attentive
to their elders.
Adults Classes:
HARMONY SEEKERS
Bible studies for older adults, singles and couples. Seeking a closer walk with
the Lord and being mission-minded for needs around them.
KEEN-AGE
Five year cyclical Bible study for multi-generations, singles and couples. They
are mission-minded and look forward to the opportunity to welcome you to their class.
ODDS ’N ENDS
Led by the pastor, studying the Bible, uses other media to supplement the Bible. This fellowship class is made up of all ages seeking a closer walk with Jesus.
SOJOURNERS
Women studying the Bible and learning how the Word of God applies to our lives.
SOUL MATES
God has placed a great priority on marriage since the Garden of Eden. Marriage can be both fun and fulfilling when we follow His Plan. Learning about His design through videos and workbooks that are based on the Word of God. Both spouses must attend this class.
SISTER-TO-SISTER
As young mothers or young career women, we often find ourselves with little time to think on eternal matters. The purpose of this class is to focus our thoughts each week on our greatest personal need - our relationship with Jesus, and to realize the tremendous value HE places on us. Ages post-high school through 30's.

United Methodist Youth Fellowship (UMYF)
This group includes both junior (6th-8th grade) and senior high (9th-12th) students in Christian life studies, service, fellowship, and recreation.
Bible Studies
Sunday Evening Men’s & Women’s Bible Studies:
Studies of books of the Bible and theologist books.
Wednesday Bible Study at the YMCA:
A comprehensive study on various books of the Bible.
Men4Jesus
Men’s group learning more about being brothers and growing in their relationship with Jesus Christ.
Joyce Place
Church provides worship every other month at local housing authority.
Sarah Circle
Ladies fellowship with a mission in heart and mind.
Wednesday Prayer and Praise Service

Vacation Bible School
An ecumenical venture with Trinity United Methodist, First Christian, and Freedom Baptist Churches during the summer.
Confirmation and Membership
Individual and group training and counseling about the faith and our church.
Disciple Bible Studies I, II, III, & IV
Leader(s): Various members of the church
Disciple I - “Becoming Disciples Through Bible Study” is a foundational study designed to give an overview of the entire Bible.
Disciple II - “Into the Word, Into the World” delves more deeply into Genesis, Exodus, Luke, and Acts.
Disciple III - “Remember Who You Are” explores the prophets and the letters of Paul.
Disciple IV - “Under the Tree of Life” studies the Writings (Old Testament), the Gospel of John, and Revelation and addresses community and individual life.
Church Camp/Retreats
The United Methodist Conference, districts and local churches provide opportunities for learning/spiritual formation in a retreat setting.
Mission Opportunities:
Brookfield Ministries Food Pantry
Open weekdays from 1:00-3:00pm. Volunteers welcome.
V.I.M.
“Volunteers in Mission” is a program through the United Methodist Church that provides us with an opportunity to become part-time missionaries locally and globally.
Mozambique Ministry
Our church provides for a pastor and his family in Mozambique. Our sister church there is Xicomo UMC in the Massinga North District.
Compassion International
Our church sponsors Laura from South America and we are thrilled to see her grow in “wisdom and stature”.
Sunday Evening Worship
Provides for missions giving locally and globally as the fellowship decides. This is our “second-mile” giving that Jesus teaches about!
Nursing Home Worship
Our church provides worship for three local nursing homes once a month.
Funeral/Special Events Food Preparation
People of the church provide meals for various organizations and funerals.
Crop Walk, Salvation Army Bell Ringers, Lenten Community Services, YMCA, Christmas Baskets, and Green Hills Community Action Agency are other periodical opportunities for mission giving through our church.
